Biography
Ryan Blake from the hard rock outfit RIDING SHOTGUN, based out of Toronto , Ontario . Ryan is a seasoned musician playing guitar for over 20 years; first playing a beat up acoustic with 3 strings and playing along to Led Zeppelin, Ryan knew from a young age being a guitar player is what he is. In addition to playing guitar Ryan has also been a guitar/backline tech, for many recognizable musicians such as Van Morrison to Derek Trucks and everybody in between.
Watching and learning what the old
timers do, Ryan has picked up a few tricks over the years, this
is evident in Ryan's most recent music project called Riding
Shotgun. Riding Shotgun have been out on the road making a name
for themselves; playing with many bands from Default, Hail the
Villain, Bleeker ridge, Art of dying..and many more. Riding
Shotgun are gearing up for their much anticipated debut album,
out in early 2011.
